Abstract

United Space School is a highly selective program designed for pre-university students from all over the world. In its 2023 edition, the main objective was to design a manned mission to Mars.

The intention of this article is to share my experience as a graduate of the program and to convey the importance which initiatives of this kind have in the education and motivation of the next generation of scientists and engineers.
