The law of arbitration in the Argentine Republic

Arbitration is a mode of dispute resolution offered by the legal system so that the parties based on the principle of autonomy of will can appoint third parties called arbitrators in order to independently and impartially resolve the conflict by issuing an award that the parties will comply with voluntarily, otherwise a judicial execution will be carried out. In Argentina Republic there are provision sanctioned and enacted at different times with diverse foundations and objectives that coexist, overlap and contradict each other on the law applicable to national and international arbitration. The study, interpretation and application of arbitration law, in order to install an authentic local arbitration culture and make the country atractive as a venue for international commercial arbitrations, will be the subject to be developed in this article.
