Abstract

This paper shows the usefulness and importance of legal sources to the analysis of different practices. It explores courts’ rulings and children involved cases during the transition to new legislation on the Buenos Aires province which appeared as an alternative to the Patronato’s laws and that shows several difficulties in the
implementation of changes.
