Abstract

Corneal deposits may be caused by local chronic injuries or systemic diseases. This alteration in corneal transparency is called corneal degeneration and occurs as a result of lipid deposition, calcium or their combination. The authors report a case of bilateral corneal degeneration in a 4 year old male dog associated with an atypical presentation of hypothyroidism. Where it shows the diagnosis and subsequent treatment response.
