Abstract

This article presents the main critics that the “Independent Evaluation Office” states to the way that the IMF management the Argentinean crisis of 2001. Before that, shows a set of theoretical categories appropriated to understand the power and dynamic of this institution in the neoliberal globalization era, and reconstruct his relationship whit the national governments previous to the 2001 default. We believe that this article give some elements that can help to understand the actual conflictual relationship between the national authorities and the IMF
