Caracterización de la temperatura de bulbo húmedo como indicador de estrés térmico en el centro y norte de Argentina
Abstract
El estrés térmico afecta negativamente el bienestar de la población y sus actividades, es por eso que el análisis de tales condiciones se vuelve clave para proteger y prevenir los impactos relacionados con el calor. En este estudio se caracterizó la Temperatura de Bulbo Húmedo (TwMAX) en el centro-norte de Argentina para su empleo como variable indicadora del estrés térmico. Los resultados encontrados evidencian condiciones de mayor calentamiento en el centro-norte de Argentina con un crecimiento generalizado de la Tmax. Además, se identificaron tendencias en alza en la TwMAX durante el perı́odo analizado que sugieren que el aumento de la temperatura también se acompaña de condiciones más húmedas. Los hallazgos de este estudio refuerzan la necesidad de abordar las condiciones de estrés térmico en el centro-norte de Argentina como un enfoque multivariado.
