Abstract

This article has two objectives. The first is to illustrate and alert about the implications of the introduction of information technologies in the world of work, especially its impact on the humanity of workers and in the democratic order in which they participate. The second objective attempts to underline the role that the trade union actor must play in the face of the challenges that the efficientism characteristic of informational or surveillance capitalism communicates.
