Minidevaluaciones y estabilidad macroeconómica
Keywords:
modelos económicosAbstract
The objective of this paper is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical objective is to design a stylized macroeconomic model out of an analytical structure of general equilibrium. The stylized model includes a public sector with the corresponding budget policy and exchange rate policy and it is subject to several alternative temporal rules for the rate of exchange in order to study its dynamic properties. The empirical objective is to present both a descriptive and qualitative analysis of the minidevaluations system that Argentina adopted several times along period 1971-78.
