Abstract

This article will analyze the implications of geoeconomic aspects in human security, exposing the evolution of its importance throughout history and the complex and interconnected current reality.
Through the study of economic defense and attack mechanisms, the importance of the economic resource in the world power game and its effects on what is already known as "economic war" will be analyzed, within the frame of a hybrid threat.
In view of the importance that economic aspects have on the birth, development and outcome of conflicts, armed or not, we wonder if there is a way to anticipate its consequences, its effects and, more importantly, influence in its appearance and development, and if this way is the implementation of an economic intelligence system.
