This article constitutes a work of basic deconstructive research which seeks to stimulate critical reflection from a double scope. In the first instance, challenges the traditional ways of addressing the integration and includes the thesis of "multiple", introducing a complexity: multiescalar, multiformal, multidimensional, multilevel, actor and multicausal event. On the other hand, it seeks to analyze the integrative potentialities in which an integration process can become from the touristic use of heritage. In this sense, tourism and heritage are positioned as strategies that, under certain frameworks and conditions, can contribute to multidimensionally strengthen a process of integration. Therefore, the touristic use of the heritage is claimed as a political strategy that transcends the commercialist optics and, in its defect, imbricate different dimensions and different actors in that process. Methodologically, it will begin from an interdisciplinary bibliographic analysis and triangulation and, for the purposes of considering empirical correlate, it will consider the master's thesis (2016) called "The tourist use of heritage Jesuit-Guarani in Mercosur. An opportunity for regional integration "(IIL-UNLP).
