Programas de educación digital en la provincia de Misiones

This work aims at reflecting on digital education programs implemented in the province of Misiones, Argentina, between 2012-2017. We will first outline our theoretical and methodological perspectives, stemming out from the Education/Communication studies’ tradition, in connection with the contributions (and possible dialogs) regarding digital education notions. The methodology is built from a qualitative perspective, and we use secondary sources (web pages, articles, political speeches, etc). Then, we offer a brief reflection on the socio-political contexts in which digital education policies emerge in Argentina, an in Misiones province in particular. Finally, we inquire into the proposals developed by the ICT Management Unit, from the provincial Congress, for initial and secondary schools regarding digital education.
