This article recovers the formative experience developed by the Association of Professors and Researchers of Villa María National University (UNMV) in 2021, on evaluation in the context of pedagogical exceptionality and beyond it: its meaning and its object, its limits and scope, its political dimension and its forms. Some reflections that emerged in this framework gave rise to the rethinking of pedagogical strategies related to the evaluative practice, as well as to the opening to think and design novel and creative evaluations, together with the revision of the pedagogical model underlying the more traditional evaluation instruments. Reflection also opens up to the conditions in which teachers face situations that go beyond their work and professional practice and seek answers in the broader scope of the educational system.
