Public policies for the audiovisual industry development in La Plata

The present paper is about the problematic of the audiovisual industry and describes the signification of the Audiovisual Polo Program, as a government policy to install and strength the capacity of promotion of the digital television contents, promoting the equality of opportunities and the decrease of asymmetries between provinces and regions of Argentina. This program is sustained in organizational webs and the constituted national universities as nods or headquarters of the pols previously mentioned. In this context, the participation on the National University of La Plata in the management of the central nod of the province of Buenos Aires is brought into discussion, focusing in the opportunity of it to become a field of experience and learning for the students, in particular those who are in studies orientated to films and television.
