Abstract

The topic that we speak about in this paper is based on the research project “Genesis and transformation of the Judiciary of La Pampa: historical reconstruction from documents and testimonies”, accredited at the Faculty of Economics and Law of the National University of La Pampa in the year 2013.

The aim of the text is to consider and to analyze the characteristics of the budget, specially the one of the Judiciary, in order to know its use and functioning in the institutional provincial context. In addition, we pretend to describe the proceeding stages that allows the citizen to have a more active and responsible role in the public organization.

We make a descriptive and interpretative analysis of the budget, the investments accounts and their articulation with the legal regulations. These aspects imply the processes of the budget’s elaboration with the indication of the actors involved; the public spending’s classification of the judiciary and the public information of the judicial staff.

Finally, an invitation to think about the need of transparence and modernization of the economic resources estimation of the judiciary is made due to the fact that its legal regulation is more than fifty years old.
