A balance of the main capacities, engagements and conflicts in the areas of integration and natural resources in MERCOSUR

Abstract

We have been coming along in asking questions with regard to the region and its natural resources from the perspective of the urgent need that our peoples have in achieving economic development as well as in understanding and circumventing the inescapable conditionalities that emerge from their link to the international system . In our case we come from a disciplinary crossing emerged from the experience macro-micro NOA-Zicosur-MERCOSUR and from this work we took the concept of "comprehensiveness" referred to the biodiversity, the basins, the regions and the natural resources in general.We propose here to make an approximation of balance with regard to the capabilities, commitments and conflicts in the area of integration and natural resources of the countries of the MERCOSUR and place them in relation to both the international context and the dilemmas of income distribution, climate change and the power relations that are presented to us today.
