The role of trade agreements in regional and subregional integration in the Caribbean

Abstract

This communication aims to analyze the role that trade agreements it has signed the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), and see how much these trade agreements have influenced the strengthening and reshaping the processes of regional and subregional integration in the Caribbean.

Doctora Ciencias Políticas y Sociología por la por la Facultad de CC Política y Sociología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España (2000). Master Internacional en Cultura, Sociedad y Cultura China (2006-2008), por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, la Universidad de Alcalá, y la Universidad de León, Casa Asia. Licenciada en Sociología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En la especialidad de Sociología Política (1992-1995). Licenciada en Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En la especialidad de Relaciones Internacionales. (1989-1993). Coordinadora de la Licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales del Colegio de San Luis, en SLP (México) (2002-2004, 2007-2009, 2016). Profesora e investigadora del Programa de Estúdios Políticos e Internacionales de El Colegio de San Luís, SLP (México), (desde 2002). Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (Nivel I).
