The objective of this text is to present a university extension initiative entitled Artistic Intervention in the Costanera Centro-Posadas Linear Park, carried out under the auspices of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National University of Misiones (UNaM). The project aimed to create memorable musical interventions to enhance the emotional value of visitors’ experiences, appealing to the element of surprise. These interventions sought to highlight a significant aspect of the province of Misiones’ heritage—its art, history, and culture. The project adopted a mixed-methods (quantitative-qualitative) approach as its methodological foundation, with field observation serving as the central tool for knowledge production in the context of university extension. Although we cannot conclusively affirm that the project’s objective was fully achieved, we can state that both surprise and music have the potential to make a walk more memorable for visitors.
