Abstract

The book compiles research conducted within the framework of a postgraduate seminar at the Faculty of Tourism and Urbanism of the National University of San Luis. It aims to explore case studies that shed light on the main characteristics of post-tourism development in Argentina. This exploration is based on a methodological strategy grounded in genealogy, involving an examination and assessment of the process that gave rise to this phenomenon in each destination.

The work is organized into chapters dedicated to different cases, accompanied by an introduction and common conclusions. These conclusions summarize the main dialogues and contributions from the cases, while also outlining a research agenda for further understanding the processes of these (post) tourist territories.
