Incentive Regime to Large Investments (RIGI) within the context of the energy transition

This article briefly describes the process of global energy transition and, in that context, analyzes Argentina’s energy situation and the consequences of the Incentive Regime to Large Investments (RIGI). The hypothesis is that this legal framework seeks to deepen an extractivist model in Argentina, based on the handing over of natural resources and raw materials production, to the detriment of the national productive tissue and, consequently, sovereignty loss.
