Aspectos analíticos del control de los intermediarios financieros

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the comparative effects on some macroeconomic variables of a change in the reserve ratio of bank and non-bank financial intermediaries. In part I, the analysis is carried out by using multipliers of the base money and in part II, by introducing macroeconomic models which include demand and supply equations for each monetary asset. The results obtained are analogous in both cases.
