No. 4/5 (2014): Works and Days
The number 4/5 consists of two bodies of articles of maximum scientific rigor. The first is devoted to the analysis of Cuba in relation to intellectuals and artists from the Revolution to our days. The second is dedicated to the working class since the second half of the 20th century with a local and Latin Americanist perspective. In the section "Interventions" we present the rigorous and acute work of Saül Karsz on the two ideological elements that predominate in contemporary societies: individual and collective. The section "History and Social Work" is dedicated to the history of the School of Social Hygiene Visitors of La Plata and Buenos Aires. The work of Adrián Celentano investigates one of the most important journals of the University Reform in the local university scene and proposes a dossier of sources for its study. Finally, the "Reviews" section gives us a set of readings of current topics in dialogue with the body of the magazine.
