Abstract

The objective of this summary is to present the process and results of the thesis " The Political Economy of Subnational External Management in the Central Region, Argentina: 2004 - 2019" presented in June 2022. It is a research that belong to the literature on paradiplomacy and transnational management of intermediate governments, but that uses the conceptual tools of international political economy to reach an explanatory level of a concerted strategy of territorial internationalization. The analysis is based on three premises that form an explanation for the transnational linkage strategy based on the configuration of interests and institutions at the regional level, the relationship with the central government, and the international context.
