Covid-19 generated significant economic and social consequences in many activities, including tourism. In this respect, Ushuaia has been taken as a study destination, given its characteristics as a tourist city, in order to answer the following questions: What feelings did the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic generate in the guides and drivers of tourism? What is the assessment of the future of tourism from the personal and emotional point of view of these workers? A qualitative methodology based on in-depth interviews was applied to tourism workers who were analyzed using the Atlas.ti 9 software. Negative feelings were identified as the socio-economic impact generated by the pandemic, although most expressed that they were able to cope in both groups there is a positive look and expectations about its reactivation, although they recognize that it will not be immediate. These approaches reflect the relationship that tourism workers have with this activity, their bond, and their vocation. The impact of the pandemic on the sector is confirmed and the high vulnerability is evident it is emphasized that it is an activity that generates mainly positive feelings and that it is chosen beyond of the difficulties it may present.
