La mercancía patrón generalizada para trabajo heterogéneo y equilibrio general

Abstract

Sraffa's non-joint production model is generalized by including stock requirements and heterogeneous labor. The Standard Commodity is generalized so that its use as numeraire still linearizes the factor-price frontier. Then fixed coefficients are assumed and the model is closed by means of demand functions and profit maximization subject to capital constraints. The fact that using the Generalized Standard Commodity as numeraire keeps wage and profit rates inside a simplex opens the way to a simple proof of the existence of competitive equilibrium based on the Gale-Nikaido Lemma.
