Abstract

Stella Maris Abate is a Professor in Educational Sciences (UNLP) and a Master in Education with a focus on Social Sciences (Unicen in agreement with Unicamp). Since 1993 and until now, she is Coordinator of the Pedagogical Area at the Faculty of Engineering (UNLP) and as a teacher she works as an adjunct professor in charge of the Chair of Theory and development of the Teaching Staff curriculum and the Bachelor's Degree in Educational Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the UNLP and in postgraduate courses in pedagogy and university didactics.

Its study topics revolve around teaching and the university curriculum: the didactic innovations deployed in the first years of the degrees, the change and curricular subjects, the inclusion of humanistic knowledge and professional practices in engineering degrees.

From University Trajectories, this dialogue seeks to be an invitation to explore the place of pedagogical advice in the processes of discussion, deliberation and development of curricular projects at the University, specifically recovering their work experience at UNLP. Structured in three moments or axes of conversation, the interview addresses, first, a personal presentation of Stella from her beginnings in the profession, to then give rise to her view, which reconstructs in a historical but also institutional key the place of pedagogical consulting. in national universities, from the present and in the future.
