Editorial of Ciencias Administrativas journal N°8
Abstract
We are glad to introduce the 8th issue of Ciencias Administrativas Journal, corresponding to the period July-December 2016, which includes six articles by authors from countries such as Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador, where subjects related to Human Resources, Social Responsibility, Organizational Culture, Financial Planning and Creative Thinking in organizations are covered.
We want to take this opportunity to share some figures that show the great effort the team does for the continuous improvement of each publication. During the first half of this year (January/June 2016 more than 5.300 visits it has been registered, (figure that has already equaled the ones obtained throughout 2015), originated by 3.874 different users. 71% of these visits where made by new users, while the remaining percentage corresponds to returning visitors of the magazine.
Weekly visits have shown a significant growth in the last semester. These remain stable on an average of 200 visits per week during 2016, representing 40% more visits than 2015, 150% more than 2014 and 300% more than 2013. While we are aware that the quality of publications do not depend on statistics, we are proud to see that our purpose is reflected on specific aspects and reaches all the readers.
Although it is very important all that we have achieved, what lies ahead for Ciencias Administrativas is even more challenging: Entering into other databases and indexing systems in order to increase its significance and dissemination and be part of an even wider context of knowledge through an editorial structure with greater effects in certain regions of the world.
We hope you enjoy this issue.
We wish you happy holidays and see you next year.
