editorialAbstract
Scientific journals have become the most important means of spreading scientific knowledge and ideas. The Ciencias Administrativas Journal aims to contribute to the study of organizations through the dissemination of research outcomes dealing with new management difficulties from the perspective of different disciplines.
On this occasion, we introduce the issue No. 17 of the Ciencias Administrativas Journal for the January-July 2021 period. This issue includes seven scientific articles, and three essays whose authors are from Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain and Mexico. Topics related to organization management and current context effects connected to COVID-19 virus are addressed.
Seven scientific articles have been selected: “Effectiveness of the Cost Management System as a Business Improvement”, “The Dynamic of Manufacturing Exports as a Constraint to Growth in Mexico through the Analysis of Productivity and FDI, 2005-2018”, “In Search of the Technological Development Missing Link. Understanding the Development of CITEDEF Simulators Vis-à-Vis Its Industrial Production Regime.”, “Failures in the Consolidation of Inter-Organizational Networks. Analysis of Experiences in the Argentinean Meat Chain”, “Communication: Vital Strategy for the Hotel Industry”, “Business Strategies in the Territory: The Case of the Valencian Furniture”, and “Home Office, Home Emergency, Home Improvisation? Qualitative Analysis from the Essential Experiences of Whistle-blowers in the Argentinean Public Administration”.
In addition, these essays complete issue 17: “Knowledge Management and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the United Nations Context”, “Duality and Dissonance in Work Cooperatives Management” and “Civil Society Organizations during the Pandemic Times. Reflections towards a New Normal: New Challenges or Equal Realities?”.
We hope that these papers help to promote the discussion of these matters and are of interest to our readers. We thank the authors, reviewer pairs and members of the editorial team for their qualitative contribution to this issue.
