EditorialAbstract
The School of Economic Sciences of the National University of La Plata (UNLP) considers scientific research to be a strong foundation for creating knowledge and understanding the organizational context. Universities have become the most favorable means for scientific progress and have been established as the center of scientific activity, fostering research as a contribution to society’s progress and welfare.
The Ciencias Administrativas journal expects to become an effective means for spreading scientific and technological knowledge in the Management area, aiming to contribute to the improvement of the organizations management in an increasingly complex and challenging world.
In this issue, for the July—December 2020 period, scientific articles and essays by authors from Argentina, Chile, and Mexico have been selected. Organizational problems are addressed from different disciplinary perspectives: general management in papers such as “A Model for the Joint Strategic Analysis of a Brand’s Intangible Assets and Knowledge: the Contribution of Cognitive Sciences to Competitive Strategy” and “Workforce Management in Multinational Companies. A Study Through Surveys to Local Branches in Argentina”; economic and financial management in “Derivatives and Economic Growth: Links and Evidence”, “Real Options and the Value of Tax Savings” and “Formulation and Evaluation of Projects, a Reflection for the Agroindustrial SMES of Mexico”, commercial management in “Responsible Consumption and Purchase Intention of Staple Food in Popular Sectors: a Multivariate Approach”, management information systems in “Determinism of Accounting in Complexity: Introductory Hypothesis” and public management in “Public administration challenges. The return of democracy and the computer project in Argentina”.
Finally, we would like to thank the authors, the evaluating referees, and the editorial team for their permanent contribution to the quality of this publication. We hope that these papers are interesting to the readers and that they contribute to promoting the discussion of the issues addressed there.
